The ongoing challenge is to keep all users of MyPhotoClub informed of features, improvements or upcoming events without bombarding them with emails, popups or flashing signs!
A moderately subtle way has been implemented to do this which I hope is a balanced method.
A light orange banner will appear on the top of the page affected as shown in the example below. The Don’t Show again button will hide this message forever.
On the membership page, the use of the mailing options is highlighted.
Finally, a similar banner message will be shown on the home page of each site. This only appears when logged on and is dismissable.
